Here's what you're agreeing to by using our site, courses, and tools:

You're entering into an agreement with My OSINT, LLC, an Indiana company doing business as My OSINT Training.
Our courses, content, and tools are for lawful, ethical use only. Don't use them to harm people.
All sales are generally final. Refunds are considered at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.
You own whatever you create. We own our course content, tools, and branding.
Our free bookmarklet tools are provided as-is with no warranty. Use them responsibly.
If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the prior six months.
Disputes are resolved under Indiana law.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use are a legally binding agreement between you and My OSINT, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company doing business as My OSINT Training ("My OSINT Training," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of our website at https://myosint.training, our courses, our free tools at https://tools.myosint.training, and any related media, channels, or applications (collectively, the "Site").

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date when we do. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Our courses and site are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. ("Thinkific"), a Canadian company. Your relationship with Thinkific as a platform is governed by Thinkific's own Terms of Service. Your relationship with My OSINT Training as a course provider is governed by these Terms.

The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not use or register for the Site.

Our courses and content are not tailored for industries with specialized regulatory requirements such as HIPAA or FISMA. If your use of our content would be subject to such laws, you are responsible for ensuring compliance.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All course content, materials, tools, software, graphics, text, audio, video, and branding on the Site ("Content") are owned by or licensed to My OSINT Training and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial license to access and use the Content you have properly enrolled in or purchased. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or create derivative works from our Content without our prior written permission.

Our free bookmarklet tools are provided for your personal and professional investigative use. See Section 8 for specific terms covering those tools.

3. User Representations

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:

All registration information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
You will keep your registration information up to date.
You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
You will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Your use of the Site will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
You will not use our tools or training to stalk, harass, or harm any person.

If any information you provide is untrue or incomplete, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.

4. User Registration and Accounts

To enroll in courses or access certain features, you will need to create an account. You may register using your email address or by connecting a supported third-party login (Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn) through Thinkific's platform.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us at [email protected] right away.

We reserve the right to remove or change a username that we determine, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate or objectionable.

5. Courses and Products

Course availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any course or product at any time.

Course content is provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee that any specific outcome will result from completing our courses.

Course content is for your individual use only. You may not share login credentials, distribute course materials to others, or use our content for commercial training purposes without our written permission.

6. Purchases and Payment

When you make a purchase, you agree to provide accurate and complete payment information. Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal, which handle all credit card and payment data securely in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We do not store your payment card information.

Sales tax may be applied where required by law. Prices are subject to change, though we will honor the price displayed at the time of your purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

7. Refund Policy

All sales are generally final.

We understand that circumstances vary, and refunds may be considered at our sole discretion in exceptional cases. If you believe you have a reason to request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] and we will review your situation.

Because our courses are digital products that can be accessed and consumed immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds to students who have accessed a substantial portion of course content.

8. Free Bookmarklet Tools

My OSINT Training offers free browser-based bookmarklet tools at https://tools.myosint.training. These tools are provided as a free resource to the OSINT and investigations community.

How the tools work: The bookmarklet tools run entirely within your browser. My OSINT Training does not collect, log, or receive any data from your use of these tools during your investigations. The only exception is the Cash App viewer page, which exists solely to display profile and image data you retrieve; we do not log or track anything on that page.

Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you use these tools. By using them, you agree to:

Use the tools only for lawful purposes.
Comply with the terms of service of any platform or website the tools interact with.
Not use the tools to stalk, harass, or harm any individual.
Conduct your research in accordance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

No warranty: The bookmarklet tools are provided "as is" with no warranties of any kind. We make no guarantee that the tools will work continuously, that third-party platforms will not change in ways that break them, or that results will be accurate or complete. We are not responsible for any outcomes arising from your use of these tools.

9. Prohibited Activities

You may use the Site only for its intended purpose: accessing OSINT training and educational resources. You agree not to:

Use the Site or our tools to stalk, harass, intimidate, or harm any person.
Use information obtained through our training or tools to facilitate illegal surveillance or unauthorized access to personal information.
Systematically scrape or harvest content from the Site without our written permission.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or content.
Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software.
Impersonate another user, person, or entity.
Use the Site to advertise or solicit goods or services.
Engage in any automated use of the Site such as bots or scripts.
Copy, resell, or redistribute our course content or tools without permission.
Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
Use our platform to store sensitive personal information such as government-issued ID numbers, health records, biometric data, or financial account details. Our platform is not designed for that purpose.
Use the Site in a manner that would violate the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) or other financial privacy laws.

10. User Contributions

Some areas of our Site allow you to post comments, reviews, forum contributions, or other content ("Contributions"). By posting Contributions, you represent that:

You own or have the right to share the content you post.
Your Contributions do not infringe on anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
Your Contributions are accurate and not misleading.
Your Contributions do not contain illegal content, hate speech, harassment, obscenity, or spam.
Your Contributions do not violate any applicable law.

We reserve the right to remove any Contribution that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, at any time and without notice.

11. Contribution License

By posting Contributions on the Site, you grant My OSINT Training a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your Contributions in connection with operating the Site.

You retain ownership of your Contributions. We do not claim ownership over content you post.

12. Reviews and Feedback

We welcome honest course reviews. When posting a review, please:

Only review courses you have actually taken.
Keep reviews constructive and factual.
Avoid offensive language, discriminatory content, or personal attacks.
Not post fake, misleading, or coordinated reviews.

We may accept, moderate, or remove reviews at our discretion. Reviews represent the views of individual users and do not reflect the position of My OSINT Training.

13. Social Media and Third-Party Account Logins

You may register for and access our Site using a third-party login provided by Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn (each a "Third-Party Account"), as made available through Thinkific's platform.

By using a Third-Party Account to log in, you authorize us to access basic profile information needed for account creation, in accordance with the terms of that third-party service. You are responsible for your own agreements with those third-party providers.

Once you leave our Site and navigate to a third-party site, their terms and privacy policies apply.

14. Submissions and Ideas

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback about the Site or our courses ("Submissions"), those Submissions become our property. We may use them freely for any lawful purpose without compensation or acknowledgment to you. This does not apply to your personal course reviews or Contributions posted on the Site.

15. Third-Party Websites and Content

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content, products, or services. When you leave our Site, you are subject to the terms and policies of those other sites.

16. Platform and Site Management

We reserve the right to:

Monitor the Site for violations of these Terms.
Take appropriate action against anyone who violates these Terms or applicable law.
Remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms.
Manage the Site to protect its integrity and the experience of our users.

17. Privacy Policy

We care about your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy at https://www.myosint.training/pages/privacy. By using the Site, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

18. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and ask that you do too.

If you believe that content on our Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to us at [email protected]. Your notice should include:

A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
The location of the infringing content on our Site.
Your contact information.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information you are providing is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

19. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect as long as you use the Site.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Site at any time, at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms, without notice or liability. If your account is terminated, you may not re-register under a different name or account.

We also reserve the right to pursue any appropriate legal action for violations.

20. Modifications and Interruptions

We may update, modify, or remove content and features from the Site at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruptions, downtime, or changes to the Site or our course offerings.

21. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

22. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution First: If you have a dispute with us, please contact us at [email protected] and give us a chance to resolve it informally. Most issues can be resolved this way. We ask that you allow at least 30 days for informal resolution before pursuing any formal proceeding.

Binding Arbitration: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, both parties agree to resolve it through binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than through a court. By agreeing to arbitration, you waive the right to a jury trial. Arbitration will take place in Marion County, Indiana, or remotely if both parties agree.

No Class Actions: All disputes must be brought on an individual basis. You may not bring claims as a class action or in any representative capacity.

Exceptions: The following are not subject to arbitration and may be brought in court: claims relating to intellectual property rights, theft, invasion of privacy, or unauthorized use; and claims for injunctive relief.

Limitation on Claims: Any claim must be brought within one year of when the cause of action arose.

If any part of this section is found unenforceable, that portion will be severed and the rest will remain in effect.

23. Corrections

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on the Site at any time without prior notice.

24. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE, COURSES, AND TOOLS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE THAT OUR COURSES WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT OR OUTCOME FOR YOUR INVESTIGATIONS OR PROFESSIONAL WORK. OSINT TECHNIQUES, TOOLS, AND PLATFORM BEHAVIORS CHANGE FREQUENTLY, AND TRAINING CONTENT MAY BECOME OUTDATED.

25. Limitations of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY OSINT TRAINING AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, COURSES, OR TOOLS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU, FOR ANY REASON AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

26. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless My OSINT Training and its officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (1) your use of the Site, courses, or tools; (2) your Contributions; (3) your breach of these Terms; (4) your violation of any third party's rights; or (5) any harmful acts you take against other users.

27. User Data

We maintain data you transmit to the Site in connection with managing your account and course enrollment. While we take reasonable precautions, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any important personal data. We are not liable for loss or corruption of data.

28. Electronic Communications and Signatures

By using the Site and sending us emails or completing online forms, you agree to electronic communications. You agree that electronic notices, agreements, and signatures satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

29. California Users and Residents

If you are a California resident and have a complaint that is not satisfactorily resolved, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, California 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.

30. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and My OSINT Training regarding your use of the Site. If we fail to enforce any provision, that does not waive our right to enforce it later. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
